I know the interwebs have been all abuzz with this new Kathleen Edwards single. Her headed to Justin Vernon’s studio and recorded the album with Mr. Iver himself. As stated before, I am not much of a Bon fan. Also, as stated before, I am a HUGE Kathleen Edwards fan. Her debut album – Failer – may be one of the all-time great debuts. Her fourth album – Voyageur – doesn’t come out until January. So she is releasing a nice 7″ with the song below to hold us over. From the sound of it, Kathleen hasn’t lost any of the the melancholy or beauty that makes her music enjoyable. Perfect first day of autumn song.
