I have seen Carsie perform live. If she is anywhere near you in the future, dig down deep and buy a ticket. You will be very happy you did. I saw her in a small club in DC and opening for Paul Simon in a 4000 seat theater in Ricmond, VA. Charming, funny and great live performer. Yu will not be disappointed, and if you get her latest CD Idiot Heart as recommended by The Late Greats, you wil agree with his opinion instantly. Obviously, I am a BIG fane of Carsie and her msuic.

I was happy about this award last year. It made me give a tiny shred of respect back to the grammys. Generally they are a marketplace for mediocrity.

Yes! I am absolutely baffled that “Simple Pleasures” is not in heavy rotation on indie radio. Awesome album. Great artist. Tragically overlooked.
